Korea Times published article by resident representative on Korea’s exemplary development
The Korea Times, the oldest independent and most influential English-language daily in Korea, published an article of Walter Klitz, the resident representative of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty in Korea, titled: “Koreans setting example for development”.
In his article, tracing Korea’s astounding ascent to world power status, Mr. Klitz identifies those factors that have made accomplishments possible. He takes a closer look at the correlations among development aid, economic and social progress, the establishment of the rule of law as well as special features of the Korean civil society and finally identifies ten factors that have institutionalized mature democracy.
