"Twenty Years after the Fall of the Berlin Wall and Lessons for the Korean Peninsula"

That is after World War II, both countries were divided along the line of ideology and both countries became a product and a symbol of “Cold War”. However, in 1989, when the Berlin Wall was tore down, West Germany and East Germany were reunited and became one nation. The collapse of the Berlin Wall supposedly indicated not only reconciliation of German people, but also the end of the Cold War on global level. Thus, the Korean Peninsula is still devided. Twenty years after, what lessons can we learn from the German experience?
